Work Foods: A Sample Pack

I started working full-time this month and after sitting and typing at my work laptop all day I simply cannot bear to open my for-fun laptop and type some more. Also I had to use my for-fun laptop for work for a while there and so I kept getting nervous that I'd open it up and accidentally see an email, so that's why I haven't been blogging. I think maybe I am starting to get over my fear, and can probably get my act together to blog at least every once in a while. Here's some examples of foods I've been eating lately. A lot of them repeat often so we're not missing out on too much content. Except for a very delicious potato pizza I ate yesterday. Maybe I'll include that if I still feel like it by the end. Ok better start putting in the pics before I fall asleep here I go:

Apple slices with peanut butter. That old classic. My appetite is still adjusting to work life so I haven't been hungry at all for breakfast, even though usually I always am. But I don't want to skip it in case something comes up and I can't eat lunch til late. Also because it seems bad for your metabolism or something. So I've been eating this a lot.

Cucumbers and ranch. I am back in my old habit of having a veggie tub around for times of desperation when I have to run and eat something so so fast between activities. So far it probably sounds like my job must be sooo busy but really it's not it's just I am still getting used to the flow of work so sometimes don't plan right.

Had some brussels about to go bad so I made this a while ago. Brussels (roasted w honey and olive oil and salt and pepper), chopped up tomato that was going bad, feta, olive oil, I think just a lot of pepper on top?

This looks not good. I know. But it is Thai green curry I made with a container of curry paste that I don't really trust. It was labeled green, but the color was like it is in this picture, not so green. I put lots of veggies in here. Baby corn, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms. Tasted pretty ok. I want to try with different curry paste. And maybe add some hot peppers next time. I think I put a little bit in here but could def use more.

Grilled turkey and cheese I think is what this is. Regular sandwich bread from a bag.

I ate this salad today because I bought spring mix and haven't been in the mood to eat it at all. Same with my smoked salmon, which is weird because that's a thing that I love. Anyway, this is feta, smoked salmon (w dill yum), spring mix, cucumbers, salt, pepper, olive oil. I still have like half a box of spring mix. Maybe I'll...blend it up or something. Idk I really am not in the mood to eat it even though it tasted good.

Popping grapes from Lotte! Like the kind we used to eat when we were little but those were tiny and these are big. Sooo sweet.

This is the potato pizza! From JBGB! It was good yesterday but I had a piece today cold and it was really good that way.
