After-work snack: potato roll

Lately I don't really eat an after-work snack because I just start cooking dinner right away but yesterday oh baby I was really hankering for one. Lucky me I realized the hot dog buns we had were potato roll buns! I put nutella and peanut butter and it was like heaven. Janty was acting like this was a weird snack, but he is wrong. And good thing I ate it because we didn't go to dinner until like 8:00!

Ceviche from Clavel

Not a good pic but I got the aguachile brujas at Clavel. Pretty good but I think I got whatever one I got last time better. I don't remember which one it was, though.

Eggs and Rice

Don't these eggs look good? Had for breakfast after swimming this morning. One major plus to swimming in the morning instead of evening is how fun it is to have a hearty breakfast and a big cup of tea afterwards.

Salad

For lunch. Spring mix, leftover brussels sprouts (did them in a different way from normal: sesame oil, rice vinegar, furikake in the oven. did not crisp up nicely but tasted good), pickled onion, campari tomatoes, dollop of hummus, olive oil, everything but the bagel seasoning. Good salad! I made almost the same thing yesterday but it wasn't as good. Idk what the big difference was.

Peanut Butter M&Ms

All week long I have been wanting peanut butter m&ms because I was watching a bunch of this dietician's reels on insta and she is always talking about how much she loves peanut butter m&ms. and then today finally I went for a little lunchtime and stopped by walgreens for the pbmms. I brought them home and prepared a little espresso drink to go with (choco macadamia espresso, brown sugar, milk, shaken) and as soon as I got upstairs to break 'em open I realized. Oh no, I have been dreaming of caramel m&ms this whole time!! because what I was wanting was the little chewy sensation when your tooth cracks through the candy shell and hits the caramel. Boy what a disappointment! Not really because I do also like pbmms but it was just such a specific craving that is now unsatisfied.

I think we're going to Kippo for ramen for dinner!
