Tuna Bowl

Mazegohan, little tuna, liquid nori. So good!

Grocery Store Sushi

Last week's Monday fish. We bought a little container of crab meat. Pretty fun.

Bagel with egg and cheese

What it says it is

Bagel with lox

I think this pic might actually be of Janty's bagel, but I like how dreamy it is

Ritz chips and cottage cheese

Used sour cream and onion ritz chips to scoop out the cottage cheese. Genius snack!

Chicken and potatoes

Chicken was with Creole seasoning, potatoes was like butter and chicken stock and Janty cooked on stove until it got crispy...so good! I want to try making mashed potatoes out of these someday. We ate this a bunch of days in a row.

Bagel and bell pepper

What it says. I saw a reels recently about how good bell peppers are for you so I've been eating them.

Egg bowl

Mazegohan, liquid nori, but with an egg this time.

Apple and nutella

Fuji apple. Huge.

Quesadilla

Janty made this. Cut up the last of the chicken itty bitty, put with cheese and potatoes. The potatoes were already really soft so he squished the quesadilla with his hand and they mashed right in.

Ribs from Whiskey Jar

These next few foods are from the sister trip to Charlottesville. This was at whiskey jar. Ribs, broccoli salad, mac and cheese

Fried pickles and totchos

From South Street Brewery. Soo crispy the totchos. We got with black beans.

Caesar salmon from Timberwood

I felt like I needed a vegetable so this was good. I love caesar salad. And salmon.

Clavel

El luchador, al gobernador, and barbacoa de borrego. My favorite was the shrimp one. It had a good little cheese layer. I don't remember if that was el luchador or el gobernador but I'm guessing luchador...al gobernador (or el luchador) was like fish and chips style fish nug.

Salmon and brussels

Ok this is back at home. I did brussels with olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper. I used to always put honey on my brussels but I fell out of the habit because we were out of honey for a while, and man it is so good. I'm glad I remembered about it. Salmon I put olive oil, Hawaiian salt, and oregano. Pretty good. I did them all on one pan- started the brussels 10 min before I added the salmon, then another 10 min. Baked at 450.

Bagel

Bagel with scrambled egg and cheddar cheese. Hit the spot. I accidentally ate all the bagels and Janty only got one. I'll get more I guess.

This is a long one. Reminds me to prep my sweet pepps for the week because we’re so bad at remembering to eat them so now I want to read about how good they are for me. James eats exclusively red. I got to the part about Timberwood grill and almost lost my mind at having zero recollection of that especially because I’ve had the biggest ceasar salad phase of my life this year but I’m maybe realizing I was probably at the wedding for that meal. Man, Clavel was so good. Everything in Virginia and Maryland was so good, that was fun!
