I ate out for all meals this weekend. Ate good stuff, though.
Saturday Brunch: Duck Salad

Went to girls' brunch at Marie Louise Bistro with some law school friends. I got the duck salad. So good, except I don't like goat cheese. But these bits were small enough that it wasn't a big deal, esp if I sandwiched the cheese between veggies and duck so that it didn't get the texture coating my mouth, which is what I don't like about goat cheese. The salad was nice and crunchy and I love duck. Also had a lavender collins.
Saturday Dinner: Oktoberfest

I was at the Minnix house for dinner for Oktoberfest. Had sausage, noodles, potatoes, roasted peppers veg (ate before I took the pic). Delish and I wish I had this right now.
Sunday Brunch: Gertie Eggs

I demanded that Janty take me to fancy brunch so I could wear my strawberry dress before it gets too cold for it. We went to Gertrude's at the Baltimore Museum of Art and I got Gertie's eggs. It's like eggs benedict with crab. That and home fries. Pretty good, even though I don't love a benedict. I figured I would just give it a try in case my taste has changed. It hasn't, but I still enjoyed this for the crab and the home fries.
Saturday Snack: Choco Gator

I picked Claire up from the airport so she brought me this chocolate gator. A Florida favorite! She was coming from Texas, though...anyway, I ate the whole thing. I wasn't planning to, but it just happened.
Saturday Dinner: Chicken Parm

When I came home from picking up Claire, Janty had chicken parm he said I could have. I wasn't sure if he meant the whole thing or not so I didn't eat very much of it...and now he's not home to ask...so I will probably eat a little something else. Maybe a quesadilla or something.

I also do not care for goat cheese or a Benedict but for me because I don’t like hollandaise sauce. Oh I meant to ask on the last post if Janty puts chicken on top of the quesadilla as decoration. Also reminds me that I have chicken in the freezer (we never buy chicken and I didn’t know what to do with it) maybe it will become chicken parm!
