This post is a round up of a bunch of things I've eaten over the course of several days but I feel like together, they could be one day of eating, and I liked that.
Noodles

Here's how I did this (I always have to google the steps even though I didn't follow a recipe): browned the meat, drained and set aside. Sauteed one whole onion, carrots, garlic, until it seemed like enough. Poured in some wine (idk if this was the appropriate time to do that but there were some crispy bits so I figured it was at least not hurting), added back the meat, a jar of tomato sauce (not pasta sauce, just tomato) and tomato paste (I think I used the whole jar but I don't really remember. maybe I did the whole jar of paste but added a little water..). Added dried basil, oregano, salt, pepper, noodles. At the very end, I chopped up some spinach and threw that in. This particular bowl was a bowl of leftovers that I added extra spinach to. Good use of spinach, I think. It didn't overpower the flavors too much even though I put kind of a lot into the batch when I first made it.
Sausage, Egg and Cheese

I feel like I've been missing a good place in my neighborhood to just get a regular breakfast sandwich like this. Luckily I finally went to Common Ground this weekend and learned they have breakfast sandwiches and really good looking pastries. I got mine on a plain bagel. While we were there I saw a huge standard poodle but at first I only saw it out of the corner of my eye so I thought it was a small dog sitting in a chair. But nope! It was a huge dog on the ground, its head just came up to table height. Seemed like a good dog.
Salad and Chicken Nuggets

I ate with bbq sauce which is not pictured. The salad is the last of that sweet lettuce mix, plus a couple handfuls of spinach that I chopped up to match the size of the lettuce bites. Then pickled onion, bell pepper, salt, pepper, Italian dressing that is very old. I ate this as my first meal at noon on Sunday (I woke up at 7 but didn't eat right away for some reason, which is not really like me) and it made me so full I didn't even want dinner. Ugh but then when it finally was time for dinner, Janty offered to order Burger King so I asked for a milkshake and french fries but they didn't bring the milkshake! Actually, it's possible that was a different day...? No, both on Sunday I think. Hmmm
Trout

Janty was the boss of dinner tonight because I needed to finish something to send to my boss and also just because we take turns being the boss of dinner. I don't know why I said it like that. He made asparagus and trout. The trout was $7 for 4 filets. Idk if that is a good price for trout, but there was a thing of salmon right next to it that was probably the same amount of fish but $29!! He did it in the pan with Creole seasoning. Pretty good. I think trout is not my favorite fish flavor but the seasoning/cooking was good. The asparagus he did in the oven with parm. He didn't trim the stems which made them look very impressive but kind of hard to eat. I used my hands and just bit 'em off.
What I actually ate today was: a banana before swimming, an egg and cheese taco after swimming, leftover noodles for lunch, apple with nutella for snack, a Kinder bueno for another snack, the trout for dinner, some choco chip cookie dough Taharka bros for dessert, a couple cheese sticks for my last snack. Pretty yummy day.

What a bright beautiful salad, I wonder if you pickled your own onion
