October 27 - Finally, A Hungry Day

My appetite has still not adjusted to working so I keep on not being hungry for breakfast and just eating something that doesn't seem like it will make me feel nauseous (usually apple w pb). But today I finally went to the Y and swam before work and whew it made me hungry thank goodness!! So here's what I ate about it
Breakfast: Broc&Egg Taco

Leftover roasted broccoli, an egg, little bit of cheese, hot sauce. Mmmmmmm. Afterwards, I made coffee and put some deluxe homemade hot choco mix in there. What a treat to feel so good in the morning.
Lunch: Tofu & Rice & Kimchi

In a bowl I put rice vinegar, shoyu, chili crisp, I think that's it. Added ripped up soft tofu, mixed it around to get it all covered. In the meantime, heated up leftover rice, added sesame seeds (probably should've put sesame oil in the tofu mix but I forgot until after). Ate with kimchi. Very fast to do!! And filling and tasty.

Also had this cut-up apple that I started eating at lunch but ate most of it after an afternoon meeting. It is a bunch-a-crunch from the farmers market. Nice flavor! and crunchy
Dinner: Grilled Cheese & Lentil Soup

Just what it says. Grilled cheese and lentil soup. I didn't put butter or mayo on the bread like normal because I didn't feel like making the pan dirty with that. Janty made the soup yesterday. It's lentils, carrot, onion, garlic, little potatoes, I think that's pretty much it. He blended it with an immersion blender but there's still a few big potato chunks and I love it when I get those. They are very soft but undeniably potato.
The big star of the show is the apple grape cider from the farmer's market. I don't have the vocabulary to describe how this tastes but just...it's like they picked the perfect grape and the perfect apple to combine. So sweet and delish.
