Cucumber Snack

Maybe everyone else already knew this, but I just learned you're not supposed to keep cucumbers in the fridge. This cucumber has been out on the counter for over a week and not mushy at all! I put salt on it. I love a salty cucumber. I had two big staff meetings today and I was eating radishes at the beginning of the first one and cucumbers at the beginning of the second one.
Dinner: Crab and Fried Rice

We went to Janty's aunt's house this weekend and she sent us home with crabs, just in time for Fish Monay. I am not good at picking crab and I do not have the patience for it. If I did, I would have picked the crabs and put the meat into the fried rice. Instead, I just ate the two things separate. Just a simple fried rice- old rice, put frozen peas, cooked 2 eggs in the middle, mixed it all in, salt, pepper, teriyaki sauce. Pretty good dinner
Bonus from Saturday: Limoncello

Claire and I went to Limoncello for Fancy Sister Lunch. It's important to do Fancy Sister Lunch every once in a while. We shared mozzarella tomato appetizer, linguine con vongole, and linguine al nero di seppia. Mm-mm-mm. And limoncello spritzes
Today I also had at least one cheese stick and some applesauce. Applesauce is so good, you know



I think I’m caught up on blogs now
Yeah apple sauce is so good. And fancy sister lunch is so important. That crab is so intimidating.
