The theme of this day was: put a bunch of stuff on the plate.

Breakfast: Egg

Not a cute pic. Should I even post this? Well. I'm going to I think. Sorry

Lunch:

I didn't really feel like eating during lunch time so I made myself a little plate to munch on throughout the afternoon. Carrots, celery, ranch, turkey cheddar smash'ems (like a roll up but the cheddar didn't roll well), grapes. These grapes are kind of weirdly not crunchy but I find them intriguing.

Dinner: Everything in the Fridge

We only had a little bit of a lot of stuff so made some variety plates: beyond sausage w broccolini, potatoes, lentil pasta w pesto. The lentil pasta is something we've had in the pantry for a long time and finally made it last week. I don't love it but I like it better warm than cold.

We were still hungry so Janty made this frozen fish he bought. It's pre-seasoned, just throw it in the oven. It doesn't look pretty here, but it tasted good. Tasted really honey-ish to me.

After-Swim Cookie and Milk

Swimming is from 7:45-9:15 so by the time I get home it's almost 10, which is when I'm usually already asleep. So I am still figuring out what to do afterwards because it makes me hungry. I think definitely chocolate milk will reenter my life as a post-swim snack.

We still had tahini cookie dough in the freezer so I cooked a batch. It was a very good idea of me, but I got so sleepy waiting for them to cook that by the time they got out I couldn't even really enjoy. I still had one though and it was so delish. I love roasted sesame.

So inspired by your swim journey, I am looking into joining myself! That is so late though 😳😳😳
