Happy New Year! Here is what I ate today.
I woke up early to go to swimming so I had some baby carrots before and a scrambled egg and a roll afterwards. The roll was one that we put in our freezer after Friendsgiving and I just heated it up with a wet paper towel over it. Then I went back to sleep for a lot of hours.
When I woke up we went to Wegmans and got lotssss of stuff to fill our empty fridge. I got this pasta with meatballs from the ready-made section. Ate most of it for lunch then had the rest for dinner a couple hours later.
Lemon Coffee Cake
Had this with tea for lunch dessert and then another piece for dinner dessert. From Wegmans, too.
I didn't really eat any snacks today that I can think of but I am wanting a pickle. I wanted to buy some at the store today but couldn't find the Claussen's and I was holding a bunch of stuff so I didn't get any. I regret it.
Bonus: New Years Day Foods
For NYE we didn't really have a lot of food in the house but I was wanting vegetables after my flight and we had some that were wilting but still edible so I chopped them small and made this mix: crown of broccoli, a few brussels, a bunch of green onion, a can of tuna, salt, pepper, mayo, and everything but the bagel seasoning. Ate it by scooping onto stale tortilla chips. Delicious, I am a genius.
Seegar
Janty got me this chocolate Seegar from See's candies and I ate it at midnight. Soo good and fun.
Funny Salad
I ate this on the 30th I think. From Pizza Boli's, the chef salad. I was really wanting a salad with little cubes of meat and cheese and this salad sounded perfect on the menu but arrived looking sooo funny to me. I took about half the meat off and it was pretty good. Satisfied my hankering. We also got these cinnamon sticks, which were surprisingly salty but very good
Also, I didn't eat this I just thought it was cute
Cute right?? I bet it's hard to eat and also even hard to chop. I like the little eyebrows.
