Ok here's part 2. A little bit out of order but I am having a hard time cut and pasting, so just understand, ok.
Camping Breakfast

Miso soup. We boiled crabs Katie caught the night before and used that the base for the miso soup so it tasted really like the ocean.

Tater tots, pancakes, Portuguese sausage, watermelon, eggs, leftover vegan chili from dinner. For dinner everyone brought chicken wings from different places so we could taste test. Von's won I think...we had that and vegan chili. I did not know until afterwards that the chicken contest was (vegan) Aunty Alison's idea. She loves chicken wings.
Roy's: Ahi Katsu BLT

After camping, we went straight to fancy Goodbye Alan lunch with the Yokota aunties. I got this ahi katsu BLT. Pretty delish. Funny to have crinkle cut fries at such a fancy place, huh? Oh well.
Boston's Pizza

James picked 'em up. I don't remember what the names were but one was one they always get, the other was jalapeno popper flavor. Yummmm. James said all this unexpected stuff is in it but I don't remember what. And garlic knots.
Some Fruits

I was not there during the season that everyone is rich in fruits it seems like, but the neighbors did give us some mangoes they got at the store. Pictured here: those, and watermelon. Mmm-mmm

This is a sandwich I got at this place Uncle Gregg took us called...something...there were lots of parrot lamps and it was pretty close to the airport on Kauai, I think. I don't remember exactly what the sandwich was, but I think it was something kalua pork-related. Good! Dad and Grandma had some bad coffee at this place and then never stopped talking about it the rest of my trip. Dad kept egging Grandma on. According to Dad, the first cup was fine but the second cup was terrible. Grandma said the first cup was like water. She kept saying "they have coffee in Kauai so I thought it would be good but it was junk you know" lol
Gyoza, Jushime, Salad

Grandma stayed up til 2 the day before we left wrapping gyoza to freeze and fry at Uncle's house. She also packed jushime. Mom made the salad. Yum yum. There were pears in the salad.
Pie

Blueberry pina colada pie from the place by Uncle's house.
Chicken Sandwich

From this place called Shenanigans on base at Barking Sands (idk what the base is called Barking Sands base?). I was not hungry at all but Mom kept being like "let's drive by the restaurant...let's just go see what they have...are you guys hungry...I just wanna see..." so anyway we ended up eating lunch there even though we had just had breakfast it felt like. I had this and guava juice, but I ate half my sandwich and gave the rest to Dad. Really good fries. Nice and crispy.
Canned Coffee

I got this when I was very sleepy. Perked me right up.
Cocktails

Mom put together these two things we found in Uncle's pantry. Delish. She said it needed something fresh like a lemon. I understand what she was saying but I thought it was pretty good without.
Beef Stew and Leftovers

Mom brought all the ingredients for beef stew on the plane from Oahu to Kauai. What a funny lady. The agriculture people stopped her and she was like "I'm making stew for my brother." On the plate is tofu and veggies Grandma picked from Uncle Gregg's vegetable patch. He was mad because she picked ones that weren't ready yet, but she was like, "no you have to take some of them out so that there's space for the other vegs to get big" and he was like "you're not the farmer!!" Anyway, I think these were like...daikon tops? I may be way wrong but I think that's what Grandma said. She also put pork in the tofu. The veggie was a little bit bitter. Tasted good with the tofu and pork.
Pie

Lilikoi chiffon pie from Kauai Kookies. So light! I ate it under the big tree in the yard while I talked on the phone.
Saimin: Hamura's

Uncle took us to Hamura's on the way to the airport and I got shrimp saimin. Soo yum. I think next time a good trick if I'm not hungry is to get small regular saimin, tempura side. The special saimins only come in one size. Hamura's is cash only, just a note. When I ordered, the waitress said "good choice!" which I always love.
Peanut Butter Daifuku

From Foodland. We went to get groceries on the way home from the airport and Aunty Alison was walking out of Whole Foods as we went in. I'm happy for mom and dad they can run into family spontaneously these days. It is so weird and fun. Anyway, the daifuku was soo good and from Foodland, not Whole Foods. We made a separate stop because Dad wanted sugar pops. These were sooo soft. They have daifuku at Streets, but it is not near as good. I think because not as fresh maybe.
Koko Head Cafe: Koko Moco

Breakfast after we went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. A morning of James recommendations! This was delish but I especially liked the kimchi tempura on the side. Their pastries all sounded sooo good but we just got a sweet potato cinnamon roll for Grandma and that's it so I didn't try any myself. Hers smelled good, though.
Pickled Young Ginger

Aunty Michiko made. We came home with a whole jar, along with our many bags of fresh produce. Aunty Michiko and Uncle Philip are growing a whole grocery store in their yard pretty much. It's not big but it is full of foods.
Plate Lunch

I don't remember where we got this from...somewhere we had never been before...I was really craving plate lunch before I left and this hit the spot
Melona

Melon flavored. Ate while I watched Drag Race with Grandma. What a dream texture! I wonder if they have at Hmart...I bet they do..
Tsukemono

Grandma made. Pretty sweet. I forgot to ask how she did it but I think I have the recipe somewhere so I can try myself.
Shave Ice: Aoki's

I got the North Shore: mango, lilikoi, guava, splash of li hing mui. With condensed milk and mochi balls.
Ham and Eggs

Dad had a little list of things he wanted to do while he was on vacation during my trip and one of them was "make ham and eggs." Very delish! He already knew how.
Nalu: Acai Bowl

I got the Nalu bowl: acai, honey, banana, blueberries, strawberries, bee pollen, granola. So yum and nice crunch.
Airport Snacks

Grandma packed me gobo and mame gohan for the plane home. I think gobo is burdock.

Also a vanilla sweet cream cold brew and water at the airport.

Wow I did not know all these secret things you ate on Kauai!! I want
