I didn't really eat breakfast bc I was in a rush to get to sewing class (made an apron, but it's not done yet) so for lunch I had one million things I don't remember.
Dinner: Spaetzle and Stew Meat

Made the spaetzle using this recipe: https://thewanderlustkitchen.com/homemade-german-spaetzle/
I don't have the kind of spaetzle maker they use in the recipe. I usually use this special angled cutting board with a little spreader thing, but I couldn't find that so I used a fork and just dipped the dough into the water that way. After a while I started a new technique using the spoon I mixed the dough with, kind of cutting the dough off the spoon with a fork...very hard to explain but hoping these notes will help me remember for the future. Sorry to non-me readers. The meat was leftover stew meat I froze from when I made curry when Emma and Rachael came over. Janty did the gravy using a flavor pack I picked up and the instructions on the beef bouillon. Something about this meal was not right, and I think it was that I seasoned the noodles with nutmeg and white pepper. The recipe said to but I never do that and I think it was too much. Oh well. It could also be the gravy's fault idk.
Dessert: Waffle

This was a choco chip waffle we had frozen from when Janty made a bunch of waffles a while ago. I wanted whipped cream but it went bad so I put powdered sugar and syrup. Too much sugar, tbh I should have left off the syrup but oh well you live and you learn. The waffle has a hint of cinnamon in it, which I think is a smart move. Heated the waffle up in the toaster oven so it was a little bit crispy crunchy. Not too much, though. Just perfect.

Yum!!!
