December 6ish to December 12 - Miso Oats

This is a bunch of stuff I've eaten in the past week.

This plate of cheese and crackers. Smoked gouda and...havarti? Delicious. On Ritz crackers. For lunch.

Kraft mac and cheese. We have a huge box of little boxes that one of Janty's old roommates left and break it out every once in a while. This day I added some spinach that was gonna go bad, a dash of paprika, and red pepper flakes.

Swiss miss with homemade marshmallow. Janty and I both got little gift baggies with swiss miss and a peppermint stick the last time we got our hairs cut so we had that with a homemade marshmallow in it and I tell you it was heavenly. We even dug out the packet from the trash to see if it was some special blend but no it was regular it just tasted so good. We think maybe because of the marshmallow.

Waffle. Homemade whipped cream. I got Janty a waffle-maker for his birthday and now I reap the rewards. To be honest, I ate this right after the hot choco and it was too much sugar and I didn't feel peak performance. Tasted good, though.

Miso oatmeal with a fried egg and brussels sprouts slivers. Loosely followed this recipe I saw on reels: https://www.lahbco.com/breakfast/savorymisooats
I tried it yesterday, too, but I liked tonight's better. Yesterday's was too soupy. I like the oatmeal to basically be like rice (not too liquidy).
Alright, there's the recap! I've eaten a bunch of other stuff lately but haven't really been cooking. Next week I want to eat a lot of vegetables though because I feel like I need them. So I'll probably cook and I took a day off so maybe I'll blog then. I don't know!
