December 14, 2021 - Good News, Good Foods

I had a good work day and ate lots of good foods today. Not one, but THREE foods I consider a bit of me (this sounds a lot like an argument I made in court this morning lol. a little joke for myself). Now I'm in bed and got an earlier appointment for my covid booster and I'm gonna read my silly little book after this. :)

Breakfast: Cookie butter latte and a croissant

I had court at Arlington this morning, which means I left the house at 5:30 even though it only takes an hour to get there and I didn't have to be there until 8. But the thing is the later I leave the more traffic there is so I would rather just leave early and sit at a coffee shop. I'm getting to know all the Arlington coffee shops this way. This morning I went to Commonwealth Joe, which I think is a hilarious name for a coffee shop but also fits the vibe (in an area with lots of hotels, people in suits, stuffy, corporate-feeling, but lots of cute Christmas lights and all the dorks are out walking their cute dogs). This latte was soooo good. Very creamy-tasting. Idk how they did it but hats off. Good croissant, too. I got it heated up. Also the person who made my latte looked like the cool older sister in a vampire family movie.

Lunch: Meat and Cheese Roll-up and Grapes

Turkey and provolone with yellow mustard. I don't love provolone, did you know that about me? We have it because Janty is the boss of buying the deli meats and cheeses and I don't think he knows that about me. He's never around when I eat my roll-ups. Maybe he'll see this. This still was pretty good, though. The grapes were nice and crispy.

After-Work Snack: Chocolate Muffin

A chocolate muffin, now that is a bit of me. Janty got these yesterday and I was like "did you know those are my favorite?" and he was like, yeah duh. And he also brought home a baguette and was like, "you like baguettes right? when I see one, I should buy it?" To me, this is the good stuff.

Dinner: Beef Stroganoff

My sisters always make fun of me for liking beef stroganoff so much, but idk why they do that it's so good!! Janty started cooking this but had to leave to get his booster shot so I finished. We did a great job.
