It took 2 cancelled flights and an extra 3 days but I am in Hawaii finally! Here is what I ate on the journey.
Breakfast: Coffee and Blueberry Muffin

My favorite travel ritual is getting a plain coffee and pastry from the airport. I got to the airport at 4 so luckily there was nobody else in the food area and I could eat in peace. It was a tough call between a chocolate muffin and blueberry but ultimately I went with blueberry because I was still a little asleep and the thought of chocolate felt overwhelming. I think it was the right choice.
Lunch: Chicken Marsala

With mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, tomato cucumber salad, and cookie dough ice cream. I love airplane food. This wasn't the best I've had but I'm just not really into cooked green beans or carrots. Potatoes and chicken were pretty good, though.
Snack: Mushroom and Cheese Pizza Twist

They fed us so much on this flight. Delta. This was a delicious twist and they gave us Ghirardelli. They really splurged on the little sides. I felt like a queen. Also everybody around me was doing a good job cutting up their food so they could pull their mask up in between bites. Not a perfect solution but idk we all had to get tested or vaxxed to go to Hawaii so I feel like this was the safest flight to be eating on. Also they gave us Biscoffs and Goldfish halfway through. I looove an airplane biscoff. Janty keeps them at home which is a quality I really like about him, but eating it on the plane is its own thing.
Dinner: Okinawa Soba and Pineapple Coleslaw

Grandma is going to teach me how to make all her staples while I'm here. For this, she did the broth by boiling the meat, then adding a flavor pack that came with the noodles. She pan-fried the meat and seasoned with shoyu, mirin, aji shoyu, sake, and boiled it some more. Topped with kamaboko, green onion, and benishoga.

Cole slaw with pineapple and almonds :)
Dessert: Boba Popsicle

Milk tea flavor. Soft!

We have boba pops too but yours looks soooo good. Ours is brown sugar
