August 23 - Rainy Day

Lunch: Angelo Pietro's

This is Mom's mushroom pizza but she gave me a piece. This place had suchhhh good mushroom dishes. I bought mushrooms at the store today and I will surely be disappointed when whatever I make doesn't taste like their foods. Janty got mushroom something pasta and I don't have a pic but it was delish.

This was my food. The description was: "Goma" eggplant with spicy beef in garlic olive oil sauce (writing the whole thing because there was another dish with almost the exact same description but this one had olive oil sauce instead of like, idk tomato or something). Sooo good. I barely made a dent in this and didn't even eat the breads! They were sooo tempting but I didn't want a repeat of the day before where I ate too much and then couldn't even enjoy it. So I saved the rest and hopefully Dad ate it for lunch the next day. I assume he did.

Snack: Shimazu Shave Ice

Normally I try to leave myself out of my food pics on here, but I needed everyone to see how big this shave ice was compared to my head. I did ube cream, coconut cream, and royal milk tea flavors with mochi on the bottom. Shouldn't have done the mochi because this was so dang huge by the time I got to the bottom I was like please no more. I loved the ube and coconut cream, but the milk tea one didn't really taste like anything to me. Oh well. Really good quality ice!! Might've helped that it was a little cooler this day, too.

Dinner: Meat Salad

Actually it was called waterfall salad, from Olay. Emma and James took us. I got the mild version and it was still almost too spicy for me. But very nice and minty. I am hoping Emma or James ate my leftovers because they were good, I just forgot them in their fridge.
