August 15, 2022 - Fixed the Oatmeal

Breakfast: Oatmeal

Heated it up, added lemon zest, coconut syrup, tiny bit of salt. I think heating it up really was more than half the battle. I think salt was unnecessary, coconut syrup did the most work, lemon zest was good. I still have probably at least one meal's worth left so maybe I'll try something new with it. If I had that lemon pistachio granola from Michelle's, I'd try adding that, but I don't.

Lunch: Sandwich

I accidentally made it upside down. But it was bread, yellow mustard, provolone, cucumbers, tomato slice, pickled onion. Pretty hard to squish! Maybe if I make another one I'll scoop the insides of the bread so I can tuck the toppings in nicely. Maybe not though idk we'll see. Ate with grapes. Delish. I feel like a dad when I eat a lunch like this.

Dinner: Chicken, Brussels, Sweet Potato

Pretty classic dinner. Janty made it. Creole seasoning on the chicken. I think same thing on the Brussels too, maybe with something else added but I'm not sure. They were good, though. Janty chopped them up nicely. I think he might have done them in the pan. That didn't occur to me until just now, but I think it's the truth. And we split a sweet potato that he just did in the microwave. Yum.


Hmmm other things I ate today were: half a banana at some point, a cheese stick, a couple bites of cottage cheese, a spoonful of nutella, 3 oreos (I know because Janty ate 3 and I ate 3 to finish the box, I don't usually count them). Right now I feel like I could eat one more small something but I don't know if I will. I should pack my lunch for tomorrow but I don't think I will. I don't really want to go to the office so maybe I won't.
