These aren't in the order I ate them.
Tuna Musubi

Ok this is actually a pic of my lunch on Friday, but I've eaten the same thing for lunch a bunch of days in a row now: tuna, furikake, rice, nori. First day I tried to onigiri it in my hands but did a bad job and it just was kind of messy until I wrapped it in the nori. Second day (pictured) I used my musubi maker and then dipped the ends in furikake. Third day (today, breakfast) I just did rice and tuna in a bowl with lots and lots of furikake (no nori sheet this time). I used tuna I got at Hmart and just mixed it with lots of kewpie and made sure I crushed it up good so no big chunks. Something in these ingredients tastes surprisingly sweet...my guess is the furikake. The first day I made it I had sprinkled salt on my hands to help me make the onigiri and I thought I must have sprinkled sugar on accident. But no, I checked and it was salt that I used. So idk but a yummy combo in all shapes.
Eggplant po boy

Got this from JBGB butchery side for lunch today. I always want to try it but end up getting the Nashville hot chicken sandwich instead. Which is a great sandwich, but I finally got the eggplant today. It was good. I liked the eggplant part. I feel like they didn't season the veg and that took away from the sandwich overall but the second half tasted better than the first half so maybe the seasoning/sauce just got distributed weird. Black cherry cola to go with it.
Yuca chips

Yesterday we went to sooo many stores. One of them was the Latin market. I like these chips.
Beef Stroganoff

From Rocket to Venus. I think they might have just reopened? I have been wanting to go for a long time so we finally went for lunch yesterday. Real "we just opened after a long time being closed" vibes. Their menu is funny because the theme seems to be "foods we can put hamburger meat in." I liked my stroganoff. I got coffee that I did not like, but that's probably partly because they didn't have milk and I didn't want sugar in it so I just had it black and that's not my favorite. Cool mug, though.
Salad

This was for dinner tonight. Janty was going to cook this whole duck he bought and froze a couple weeks ago but it didn't thaw in time so I made salad. Arugula, spinach, 2 tomatoes that were about to turn, cucumber, some olives we've had unopened for a million years it seems like (chopped little). Salt, a lil Italian seasoning, lemon juice, olive oil on the veg. Topped with burrata, black pepper, and a little dash of a fancier olive oil. Great salad. We bought the burrata today and we accidentally dropped our first tub at the checkout line and it made a mess but it wasn't a big deal. There was a very nice worker nearby who had a bunch of paper towels handy and I just went and got another tub. All's well that ends well, I suppose.
After dinner today we ate a bunch of powdered sugar hostess donettes. I would have eaten fruity pebbles otherwise but I'll eat that tomorrow I guess.

Wooow that salad looks awesome! I’ve still never had beef stroganoff, will you make me some? I’ve also still never had the Korean fried chicken sandwiches from hmart so I want to take you there too!
