We camped at Ho'omaluhia and did it up fancy.
Breakfast: Sam's Delicatessen

Emma picked us up 2 plate lunches to share before we left for camping: boneless kalbi (top) and barbecue chicken (bottom). With mac salad, beansprouts, daikon, mandoo, cucumber kimchi, rice. Gotta love a plate lunch!!
Snack: Guava

At the campsite. Sweet sour.
Dinner: Camping Feast
Our plan started out to be me and Emma bringing pasta salad, Aunty Mano and Uncle Daniel folks bringing hamburger patties but then Mom and Grandma took over dinner so we got fancy food. Good thing because it turns out there were't grills there. Uncle Daniel brought his hot plate though so we could heat up the soup and he cooked breakfast on it (that's tomorrow's post I was thinking about putting it here but I'm gonna wait)

Chop salad mix. My favorite kind! With poppyseed dressing

Portugese bean soup from the Punahou School cookbook.

Grandma's fried chicken. She just put Hawaiian salt on the chickens, dipped 'em in flour/cornstarch, fried.
Dessert: S'mores

Regular S'more. I did it mix of radiation/conduction, according to Ellie's guidelines. After this one I had a perfect marshmallow (just plain not s'more) but it was nice and crispy on the outside ooey gooey on the inside.
Also we ate Cheetos puffs and takis.

Boneless kalbi and barbecue chicken! My phone hates for me to type food names. Mandoo was good too huh, I love Sam’s!
